The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed with regards to the substantial quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance issue developed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise SRD additional means to help the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
